Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that wedding plans can change. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled for choreography bookings with Baat Pakki Vyah Nakki. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking Advance
An advance payment is required to confirm a booking and reserve your event date. This advance allows us to block your dates, decline other enquiries for the same period, and begin planning and choreography preparation for your event.
2. Cancellation by the Client
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, you must notify us in writing by email or WhatsApp. The following terms apply:
- Booking advance is non-refundable: once the booking advance has been paid, it is not refundable in the event of a cancellation. If a booking is cancelled before rehearsals begin, the booking advance is redeemed in full as a cancellation fee.
- Cancellation after rehearsals have begun: if you cancel after practice sessions have started, you will be charged the full amount for the choreography minutes already taught by us, calculated at the per-minute rate agreed earlier for the per-minute choreography. The booking advance already paid will first be adjusted against this charge, and any residual amount must be paid over and above.
3. Cancellation by Us
In the rare event that we are unable to fulfil a confirmed booking for reasons attributable to us, you will be offered either a full refund of the amounts paid or a mutually agreed alternative arrangement.
4. Rescheduling & Postponement
If your event is postponed, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your new date, subject to our availability. Please inform us of any change as early as possible. If we are unable to accommodate the revised date, the cancellation terms in Section 2 will apply.
5. Refund Method & Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the booking. Refunds are typically completed within 7 to 10 business days from the date the refund is confirmed, subject to processing timelines of banks and payment providers.
6. Non-Refundable Costs
Any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf — such as travel or accommodation bookings, or custom music, props, or materials specifically arranged for your event — are non-refundable, regardless of the notice period.
7. Force Majeure
If an event cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond reasonable control of either party (such as natural disasters, illness, or government restrictions), both parties will work together in good faith to reschedule the engagement to a mutually suitable date.
